A process

Writer's picture: Greg HodderGreg Hodder

Maybe the should just be asleep on the floor? The creative process has humble beginnings and its good to know that!

As I am getting close to finishing a book that I have been working on for a while, I have been looking at other peoples creative processes and found this wonderful article/gallery on the Guardian website.

I am sure that a lot of you may have seen this, but if you haven’t it’s a real treat.

I love Axel Scheffler’s and Julia Donaldson’s work so it’s really great to see their fantastic books have simple sketched beginnings. It certainly brings me confidence that it is okay to start of with a few scrawled sketches and that characters take time to develop!

Keep on drawing!
